NEW BERN, Craven County — Hurricane Florence has been bearing down on Eastern Carolina. The storm got here as a category 2 and has finally begun to move away from us. There's lots of rain, wind and some flooding going on.

What's important is you stay safe and don't venture out unless you really need to. We'll get through this together.
