Rebecca McGann

Originally from Springfield, IL, Rebecca traveled west and earned her Bachelors of Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

While there, Rebecca worked as a part-time Multimedia Journalist for KLKN - Channel 8 News as well as working as the News Director for UNL's student broadcast, Nebraska Nightly, which was awarded the Grand Prize for Best Student Broadcast by the National Broadcasting Association.

Rebecca and her husband, Michael, are excited to be in New Bern and look forward to learning more about the community.

In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys watching sitcoms, relaxing on the beach or playing with her two kittens, Violet and Norbert.
