Four arrested after 20-year-old man found shot to death (Rocky Mount Police Department)

Four people were arrested on Tuesday for shooting a 20-year-old man in Rocky Mount.

At approximately 4:40 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a shot spotter activation call in the 200 block of Union Street. When officers arrived on scene, they found 20-year-old Mikell Lamar Sheridan shot to death.

The following suspects were arrested and charged with first degree murder: 18 year-old Tracy Lamont Collins Jr., 17-year-old Shymond Kiheem Williams, 18-year-old Khalil Jywon Davis and a 15-year-old juvenile.

Collins, Davis and Williams were taken to Nash County Jail. The juvenile was taken to Wake County Juvenile Detention Center. All four are being held without bond, according to Rocky Mount Police Sgt. Brad Summerlin.

Two other men were found dead on Carroll Avenue the day before the Union Street incident. Officers responded to a shots fired call around 9 p.m. on Jan. 5. When officers arrived on scene, they found 31-year-old Kestler Rayo Bridgers and 39-year-old Torrey Tinell Hill shot. Both men died from their injuries.
