BULOXI, Miss. (WPMI) — Cocaine bricks washed ashore on a Biloxi, Mississippi beach this past weekend.
Officials say at least 15 packages with cocaine inside were found, and eight of them were found during a beach cleanup.
There was likely to be a larger amount of drugs that either fell off a vessel or they were intentionally dropped off to be picked up by someone else or another group of individuals later on at some point.
Some of the bricks had a "Dior" label on them, and police were able to put that info into a database to try and find out where they came from.
Police arrested a man they say took one of the bricks, and kept it for himself instead of turning it over to police.
He's been charged with aggravated drug trafficking.
