Those looking for a job amid the coronavirus pandemic have an opportunity to see what jobs Craven County Schools has available during the district's first-ever virtual recruitment fair.

The fair takes place on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until noon, and individuals can use the Zoom app to get into different chat rooms to talk with principals and other school officials about open positions.

Openings range from pre-K to high school educators, bus drivers, custodians, electricians and more.

β€œIt’s a great time to do this because folks like never before are looking for new opportunities to work, and our students and our communities continue to need the very best people to educate our students," explains Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Wendy Miller. "So, what better time to seek new people for the Craven County school family?”

There is no limit to how many people can zoom in to the fair; however, officials say there could be waiting times to enter some chats.

Preregistration can be done online.
