Greenville Police give pointers to what to do if stopped
GREENVILLE, Pitt County —
Greenville Police Chief Mark Holtzman spoke before city council on Monday to give information about what to do if you're pulled over by law enforcement.
Councilwoman Kandie Smith requested Holtzman give a presentation after receiving phone calls from concerned citizens about proper protocol. Holtzman said it's as simple as making sure you stay in your vehicle, keep your hands visible and let the officer know if you need to reach for something like your license or registration.
