It's a day where volunteer groups across the county can team up to pick up litter in the community.

It is Saturday, Apr. 23 from 9 a.m. until noon with check-in starting at 8:45 a.m. at any of the six sites.

Those sites include:

  • Salter Path Beach Access, 1025 Salter Path Road, Salter Path

Each volunteer will get a t-shirt and is eligible for prizes and drawings including gift certificates for restaurants, store merchandise, family-centered places and more.

Volunteers will be given refreshments, gloves, trash bags, safety gear and trash pick-up tools.

It is rain or shine and volunteers are asked to bring water and wear comfortable shoes.

To ensure supplies last, people are asked to register no later than Thursday, Apr. 21.
