Woman wanted in Greenville armed robbery already in jail
GREENVILLE, Pitt County —
Greenville Police were searching for an armed robbery suspect. Turns out she was already in jail.
Around 6 p.m. on Nov. 28, officers were called to the Family Dollar located at 1601 S. Evans Street. Witnesses said a woman entered the business, implied that she had a gun and demanded money. She was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident. Detectives have obtained security footage of the suspect.
Greenville Police said Wednesday evening the suspect, Hollie Lynn Chaimowitz, was already in jail on unrelated charges. Warrants were being obtained for her arrest on the robbery charges.
