Wisconsin man charged with abduction of Jacksonville minor
JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County —
A man from Milwaukee, Wisconsin has been arrested and charged with abducting a minor in the case of the Jacksonville girl who went missing last week.
Joshua Christian Bullock took Abigail Allen, 16, from her residence without her parents' permission on March 4. Onslow County Sheriff's deputies responded to the residence to a report of a missing/runaway juvenile report. Officials said Bullock had visited Allen on previous occasions before the March 4 incident. Allen met Bullock through an online social media site, officials said.
The two were found in Bishopville, S.C. at 1 a.m. the following morning.
Bullock, 28, turned himself in Tuesday and was taken before a magistrate. He was charged with felony abduction of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was placed in the Onslow County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond. He will have a court appearance on Wednesday.
Abduction of a Child is when a person without legal justification or defense, abducts or induces a minor child who is at least four years younger than the defendant to leave a person or agency entitled to the child’s custody, placement, or care. North Carolina General Statute 14-41.
