The use of trail cameras by a trio of Beaufort County residents helped authorities capture two men accused of a series of burglaries in that county.

Johnnie Swindell Baker III, 42, of Edward, is charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny, while Linwood Harold Harrington, 36, of Washington, is charged with seven counts of felony breaking and entering, nine counts of felony larceny and one count of misdemeanor damage to property. Harrington's bond was set at $45,000 while Baker's was set at $15,000.

BCSO Lt. Jim VanLandingham said trail cameras were used in what ended up being five separate breaking and entering or larceny cases.

The crimes tied to Harrington occurred in the town of Bath while that tied to Harrington occurred in the Blount's Creek area.
