Police have identified three people killed in Rocky Mount over the weekend.

The information stems from two separate incidents that authorities are investigating as homicides.

The first shooting happened on Jan. 5 around 9 p.m. Officers responded to a shots fired call in the 4400 block of Carrol Ave. When officers arrived on scene, they found 31-year-old Kestler Rayo Bridgers and 39-year-old Torrey Tinell Hill shot. Both men died from their injuries at the scene.

The next day at approximately 4:40 p.m., officers responded to a shot spotter activation call in the 200 block of Union Street. When officers arrived on scene, they found 20-year-old Mikell Lamar Sheridan shot to death.
