Sheriff: Meth, Xanax, gun and more found in Greene County home
SNOW HILL, Greene County —
A Greene County man is in trouble with the law. Greene County Sheriff Lemmie Smith announced that 47-year-old James Robert Bromley-Turner II was arrested on drug charges.
Greene County Narcotics Investigators began an investigation through tips that narcotics were located at a home on Grants Path, Snow Hill. Narcotics Investigators followed up on the tips which lead to a residence search warrant on Friday.
Bromley-Turner II was arrested at the residence. Investigators said they seized around seven ounces of methamphetamine, 130 Xanax pills, drug paraphernalia and a handgun. Bromley-Turner II was charged with the following:
-- Trafficking in methamphetamine
-- Possession with intent to sell/deliver meth
-- Possession with intent to sell/deliver a schedule IV controlled substance
-- Maintaining a place for a controlled substance
-- Possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bromley-Turner II also had an active domestic violence protective order. In addition to the drug charges, he was also charged with possessing a firearm in violation of a domestic violence protective order along with a domestic violence protective order violation.
Bromley-Turner is currently being held in the Greene County Detention Center under no bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
