Jacksonville man charged with stealing two vehicles, other crimes

A Jacksonville man was arrested Friday and is facing multiple charges, including the theft of at least two vehicles.

Mycah Deshon Lilly, 18, of Three Bridges Estates in Jacksonville, was arrested by deputies with the Onslow County Sheriff's Office on Friday. He is taken before a magistrate and charged with the following:

-- (2) Counts Felony Larceny of Motor Vehicle

-- (2) Counts Felony Possession of Stolen Property

-- (2) Counts Felony Conspiracy

-- (2) Counts Felony Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle

Lilly is currently on probation and had an outstanding warrant, which was served at the time of his arrest. He was transported to the Onslow County Detention Center under an $84,000 secured bond.

Officials responded to Hac Street on June 30 for the report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located in Sneads Ferry by a deputy and a short chase ensued. Officials said Lilly stopped and fled on foot.

Through an investigation, it was determined Lilly had stolen another vehicle. Lilly was eventually found and arrested.
