Greenville Police arrest two on drug-related charges after traffic stop

Greenville Police arrested two men from Georgia on drug charges after a traffic stop in Greenville on Nov. 28.

Ricardo Juarez-Mora, 41, from Ellenwood, Ga., and Hector Lopez Garcia, 39, from Norcross, Ga., were charged with multiple counts of level III trafficking and conspiracy to traffic in heroin. Both were booked into the Pitt County Detention Center under $2 million secured bonds.

Greenville Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Greenville Boulevard and Hooker Road on Nov. 28. Police found two kilograms of heroin with a street value of $1 million. Further investigation, with the assistance of the Greenville Regional Drug Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Administration-Raleigh Resident Office, revealed that both men were involved in trafficking heroin into Greenville.
