MAGNOLIA, Duplin County — A man considered "armed and dangerous" is wanted after two people were found shot in Duplin County on Tuesday.
The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies responded to reports of someone shot on Bonham Road near Magnolia. Once they arrived on scene, they found 27-year-old Tammy Hannah and 30-year-old Ever Elizar Espinoza unresponsive in a front yard.
Hannah died due to the injuries she sustained from a gunshot wound.
Espinoza was shot in the back, according to a press release. He was transported to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville due to the extent of his injuries.
28-year-old Lamir Dashoun Elam is now wanted by the Duplin County Sheriff's Office.
Elam is 5-foot-11 and weighs approximately 196 pounds. His last known address is East NC 24 Highway in Kenansville. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts should contact the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 296-2150.
