Marine patrol officers help family in need

It was just another day at the office for officers Blythe and Gillis.

A typical day in marine patrol is checking commercial and recreational fishermen, checking seafood dealers, looking for boating safety violations and size of creole limits. These two officers have more than 30 years combined experience working along the New River and its creeks. They've seen it all but this view never gets old.
