A car show Monday was used to help raise money to help a group build a home for a wounded warrior.

Unprofane Riders Inc., a national non-profit organization, hosted the second annual event. The organization teamed up with Homes For Our Troops to create this fundraiser. Proceeds go to build a specially-adapted home for a local Marine Corps Veteran, Christopher Hancock, who lost both of his legs while deployed overseas.

The car, truck, SUV and bike show was held at the Carteret County Speedway. The group said the show brought out hundreds of vehicles last year and they were hoping to double the number this year.
