Man says runner treats his home like toilet, calls it 'malicious fecal distribution'
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A New Mexico man said a runner is treating his home like a toilet, by defecating outside his residence every time she's on her morning jog. The man is calling the act "malicious fecal distribution," and is taking action.
According to ABC-affiliate KOAT, the man who lives at the Albuquerque home, identified only as "Bobby," said the female jogger has defecated against the wall of his residence at least four times. He said he has no idea who she is, or why she's doing it.
Bobby said the jogger would always defecate outside his home on weekend mornings. He installed a surveillance system, which on Easter Sunday, caught the jogger in the act.
"Drops her pants, lets go, puts her shorts back up, without any wipe, nothing else," Bobby said. "This is malicious fecal distribution. She's come back multiple times."
Bobby said while he was running errands this past Saturday, his cameras caught the jogger striking again. "This is calculated. 'Look, look, look, I'm dropping my pants as I'm running,'" Bobby said of the surveillance video. Bobby said he has not contacted police yet, because he is unsure if they would take him seriously. But he said he's ready to retaliate should the runner ever come back. "If it happens again, I'm going to run out there with a hose and hose her down and say, 'Bad human,'" Bobby said. Police said if the suspect is caught, she would likely be charged with misdemeanor public nuisance or disorderly conduct.
