Week 10 of The Blitz

NEW BERN, Craven County - It was Rivalry Week ... sorta.

With three weeks to go in the high school football regular season, we are seeing some schools really emerge as teams to beat in Eastern North Carolina. But Friday night was a chance at some redemption for teams.

D.H. Conley continued its recent success against J.H. Rose with a win to keep the belt in the annual Crosstown Throwdown, Southwest Onslow continued its dominance over upstart Richards and Northside-Pinetown beat Southside to take home the Anchor Bowl for the first time in 2013.

There were also some other really exciting games such as North Duplin's overtime win against Princeton to remain unbeaten along with Rocky Mount Academy winning a close one over Parrott Academy.
