Man sells stepdaughter's puppy for drugs
DUDLEY, Wayne County —
A man was arrested for stealing his stepdaughter's eight-week-old Yorkie puppy and selling it for drugs.
On January 1, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office completed a larceny report of the puppy stolen from a residence on Club Knolls Road in Dudley.
Detectives began an investigation, which revealed the step father of the victim sold the puppy in exchange for drugs.
Christopher O'Neal Eakes was arrested on January 8 and given a $2,500 unsecured bond as a result.
