Woman tries to pass drugs to inmate, both arrested

SNOW HILL, Greene County - A woman and inmate have been arrested after the woman tried to pass drugs to him.

Greene County Sheriff Lemmie Smith reports Faith Nicole Parker, 31, of Grifton was arrested after law enforcement reported she passed a balloon with 20 suboxone pills during a visit on Nov. 29. Parker was visiting Noah Frank Massengill, 34.

Investigators later searched Parker's vehicle and found an additional 20 suboxone pills in her vehicle. She was arrested and charged with providing a controlled substance to an inmate, deliver of schedule III controlled substance and providing drugs to an inmate. Parker is currently out of jail after posting a $15,000 secured bond. Massengill, who is currently serving time for habitual felon, felony breaking and entering and felony larceny charges, is being charged with possession of controlled substance on prison premises and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both have separate court dates on Friday.
