Two transported to hospital after Greenville accident
GREENVILLE, Pitt County - Two people were sent to the hospital after an accident Wednesday involving a car and an SUV.
NewsChannel 12's Nicole Griffin spoke with officials who said the accident happened at East Arlington Boulevard and Turnbury Drive around 2:30 p.m. Two people had non-life-threatening injuries and were carried to Vidant Medical Center as a precaution.
The SUV ended up on its side while there was front-end damage to the car. The driver of the SUV, who was trying to go straight across Arlington, is facing charges, according to Greenville Police Pubic Information Officer Kristin Hunter.
Greenville Police responded to the call along with Greenville Fire/Rescue.
