The larger of the fires, dubbed the Mother's Day Fire, has affected nearly 82 acres. Firefighters have the perimeter set up but will continue to monitor the blaze for several days as the hot and sometimes windy conditions over the next several days could cause flare ups.

The Millis Swamp Fire has burned 2.6 acres. Both fires did not affect any structures nor cause any injuries.
