Two arrested on separate drug charges in Beaufort County
WASHINGTON, Beaufort County - Two men from Beaufort County have been arrested and charged by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office in separate drug cases.
On Dec. 7, deputies arrested Bruce Tyrell Scott, 33, of 577 Cherry Run Road in Washington. He was charged with felony possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. His arrest stems from a traffic stop on a vehicle that was being used to sell and deliver cocaine.
He was placed in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond.
On Dec. 8, deputies arrested Thomas Monroe Gaynor, 33, of 409 Idalia Road in Aurora. He was charged with three counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. His arrest came after investigators made purchases from Gaynor, who was under probation.
Gaynor was placed in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
