Two arrested in breaking& entering also facing other charges
GREENVILLE, Pitt County - The Pitt County Sheriff's Office has arrested two people on numerous charges, including breaking & entering in an incident that happened last week.
Jonathan Paxton Jones, 30, of 2401 Lester Mills Rd. in Greenville and Amanda Courtney Prescott, 26, of 2287 Heber Hudson Rd. in Greenville were arrested on July 14. Their arrests came after deputies responded to 2766 Major Smith Rd. to a reported break-in. A jewelry box and jewelry were taken.
Jones was charged with breaking or entering & larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond. Prescott was charged with breaking or entering & larceny, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of stolen goods. She was placed in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $35,000 secured bond.
