Tropical Storm Don forms off the coast of South America
We now have Tropical Storm Don in the Atlantic Ocean. It formed Monday afternoon and is located about 500 miles east-southeast of the southern Lesser Antilles.

Tropical storm watches and warnings have been issued for the southern islands in the path of the storm. Don is predicted to drop 2-4 inches of rain across the Windward Islands through Wednesday morning.
The track of Tropical Storm Don is expected to remain just off the South American coast in the Caribbean. Winds are expected to reach 45 miles per hour by Wednesday.
