Three suspects captured, one at large after Beaufort County home invasion
WASHINGTON, Beaufort County - Beaufort County deputies are on the hunt for a teenager involved in a Washington home invasion, after capturing three other suspects.
On Friday, The Sheriff's Office received a call from a resident of Buck Road Extension to report the home invasion. The caller said three armed men wearing masks entered the residence demanding money and fled the scene in a car. The caller said her husband and brother started following the car when the suspects started shooting at them, hitting their vehicle several times.
Deputies attempted to intercept the car. They were able to arrest Tykeis Blount and Jaylen Gilmore after chasing them on foot. after a brief struggle, a firearm was taken from Gilmore.
With the help of the Washington police Department, a third suspect, Infiniti Harris, was found hiding in the car. Blount, Gilmore and Harris have been charged with 1st degree burglary, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle. Blount was additionally charged with carrying a concealed weapon and resisting a Public Officer.
The Beaufort County Sheriff's office says Zay'Meion DonShay Thompson, age 18, is still on the rub and should be considered armed and dangerous.
