Three more arrested in connection to 2016 Kinston murder investigation
KINSTON, Lenoir County - Kinston Police announced three more people have been arrested in connection to a 2016 murder investigation.
Antonio Lorenzo Hines, 18, was killed due to multiple gunshot wounds on June 26, 2016 near 1205 Lynn Drive in Kinston. Two people were arrested on Monday and another on Tuesday. That brings the number of suspects arrested in the case to 15.
On Monday, police located and arrested:

On Tuesday, Kinston Police announced the arrest of:
Jonta Kenyada Garner DOB 07/16/1998 5E Mitchell Wooten Ct. Kinston, NC Warrant for: First Degree Murder, Felony Conspiracy to Commit Murder
On Dec. 15, Kinston Police announced the arrest of seven more people in connection to the murder investigation. These five were arrested prior to the Dec. 15 arrests:

-- Hyquil De'Quantaye Jones B/M, DOB-12.07.1995 2005 Truman Ave. Kinston, Charges: Attempted Murder, AWDWIKISI LC Jail $1,000,000 bond.
Kinsey was a suspect shot on Dec. 10 at the Mallard Food Shop at 1502 Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd. in Kinston. He was transported to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville for treatment.
Jones is also a suspect in the shooting of Dyrautae Speller on April 21, 2016. Kinston Police said Speller was driving a motor scooter on the 600 block of Meadows Lane when he was shot in the right leg, which caused him to crash the motor scooter. EMS responded and transported Speller to UNC-Lenoir for treatment. He survived his injuries.
