Second suspect arrested in connection with August break-in

HUBERT, Onslow County - A second man has been arrested in connection to a business break-in which happened in August, officials said.

Gregory Martin Britt, 26, of Hubert was arrested for his part in the break-in of Martin Rentals of Harbord Drive, Midway Park.

The break-in occurred on August 7, 2017. Matthew Lutz was the first suspect to be arrested only days after the incident on August 11. Three utility trailers and various lawn equipment were stolen during the break-in.

Onslow County Sheriff's Office detectives recovered over $16,000 worth of stolen property in this case.

Britt is being charged with breaking and entering of a building, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering of a building, felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods/property.

He was transported to the Onslow County Detention Center under a $35,000 secured bond.
