SBI called to scene where suspicious package was found in Greenville
GREENVILLE, Pitt County - The State Bureau of Investigations was called to the scene of a Greenville business where a suspicious package was reported.
NewsChannel 12's Nicole Ford reports the package was reported at A Wireless off Arlington Boulevard on Thursday afternoon at around 12:30 p.m. The person had the package, opened it and then threw it outside, Greenville Police said.
Crime scene tape was placed around the package at a radius for safety. A bomb-sniffing dog examined the package and did not detect any explosives. The SBI was called in as a precaution.
