CHINQUAPIN, Duplin County - With no arrests since he was killed in late September last year, the Duplin County Sheriff's office is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder of Les Pittman.

The reward announcement was made for a second time on Friday morning, just days before the one year anniversary of Pittman's killing, which occurred sometime between late night on Sept. 28 and early morning on Sept. 29. Pittman was last seen alive at about 9:45 p.m. on Sept. 28 at Buck's Corner, 241 Cole Swamp Road, in Chinquapin.

The department first announced the reward back in January.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Duplin County Sheriff's Office Det. Susan Holland at (910) 296-2150.
