New Bern Police continue to investigate shooting, name victims

New Bern Police are investigating an early morning shooting at Flyers 69 Howling Dog Saloon in the 3200 block of Neuse Boulevard

New Bern Police have identified the two suspects shot early Saturday morning.

The investigation continues into the shooting, which happened at Flyers 69 Howling Dog Saloon in the 3200 block of Neuse Boulevard. Carzell Raynor, 21, of Dover and Devin Bryant, 21, of Cove City were shot and transported to CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information. Call New Bern Police at (252) 633-2020 with any information.

New Bern Police are investigating an early morning shooting at Flyers 69 Howling Dog Saloon in the 3200 block of Neuse Boulevard, according to Lt. David Daniels.

According to New Bern Police, Just after midnight on Saturday, officers responded to a report of shots fired and two subjects being shot in that area.

Once officers arrived on scene, they learned that two people had been shot and transported to CarolinaEast Medical Center in a private vehicle.

The two people shot were later air lifted to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, where they are being treated, according to police.

Officers are processing evidence, interviewing witnesses and following up on available leads and ask that anyone with information to contact the police department.

NewsChannel 12 reported on a fatal shooting in the same area in May of 2017. One person was killed and two were injured in that shooting.
