Person brought in by police for questioning after threat toward school
GREENVILLE, Pitt County - Greenville Police brought in an unidentified person for questioning after a social media message circulating on the web was perceived by many as a threat against J.H. Rose High School.
The picture was found and Greenville Police along with Pitt County Schools took action on Tuesday, according to GPD. The person identified in the photo was taken to the Greenville Police Department for questioning.
Officials said the investigation continues and detectives do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the school. To be on the safe side, there will be additional resources provided by GPD at the school campus on Wednesday to reassure concerned parents and students.
