Pasquotank correctional officer talks about attempted prison escape
ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - One week ago Thursday, the lives of correctional officer Scott Stormer and many others at the Pasquotank Correctional Institution in Elizabeth City changed forever.
Stormer was one of the officers involved in the attempted prison break on Oct. 12 that killed two correctional officers and left at least two other prison employees still in the hospital as of Thursday night.
"All I felt was a big hit in the back," Stormer said. "You know like someone hits you in the back, and he might of hit and hit again."
On Friday, charges are expected to be announced to the four inmates who were responsible for the chaos that ensued. Click the above video to hear more of Stormer's story.
