Pair charged in New Bern break-in
NEW BERN, Craven County - A pair of New Bern residents will be making their first court appearance Monday morning for charges tied to an Oct. 4 burglary.
The Craven County Sheriff's Office said Thomas Long, 38, of 229 Duck Pond Road and Amy Hott, 36, of 7188 NC 55, were arrested for an Oct. 4 break-in along Luferry Road.
Both were charged with felony breaking and entering, felony possession of burglary tools and felony attempted larceny. Long was booked into the Craven County Jail on a $25,000 secured bond, while Hott was booked into the same facility on a $15,000 secured bond.
