JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County - Onslow County Schools will host an Educator Recruiting Event on June 14 at Northside High School in Jacksonville.

Onslow County Schools will host an Educator Recruiting Event June 14, 2017, for possible openings during the 2017-18 school year. The fair will be held at Northside High School, located at 365 Commons Drive, South in Jacksonville, from Noon to 3 p.m. Representatives from schools with expected vacancies for the 2017-18 school year will be available in the gymnasium. Three sessions are scheduled to help those looking to join the ranks of a great public school system. Noon - 1 p.m. Educators with Existing Credentials -- For those who have completed an educator preparatory program, learn how to obtain a North Carolina educator license and a position in the Onslow County School System. 1 - 2 p.m. B.A. Degree Holders -- For those who have completed a Bachelor's degree and would like to learn more about becoming an educator. 2 - 3 p.m. A.A. Degree Holders -- For those who have finished an Associate's degree and are interested in earning a teaching credential; learn about an online, affordable program sponsored by State Employees Credit Union.
