New club for teenagers opening in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County - Soon teens will have the option to go clubbing on Friday nights in Jacksonville.
Club New Era, created for teenagers will open for the first time this Friday. Paul Scott, founder of Lit Committee New Era, is funding the start of the club. It will have a D.J., security, food and drinks. No alcohol will be sold.
The club will be located at 4075 Gumbranch Rd. There is a cover charge of $7 for men and $5 for women. It's open for ages 14-17 with a school or state ID. Once report cards come out, anyone who has As and Bs will get in free.
