New Bern man arrested for hitting multiple cars, fleeing scene
NEW BERN, Craven County - A New Bern man is under arrest after local police say he hit multiple vehicles on Neuse Boulevard Thursday around noon while intoxicated before fleeing the scene on foot.
New Bern PD Capt. Bobby Jones said despite the multiple cars that were struck - allegedly by Robinson Dunn - there were no injuries reported.
NBPD says Dunn struck several vehicles before wrecking his car in the 2300 block of Neuse Boulevard. He fled the scene on foot and was later arrested, charged with felony flee to elude by motor vehicle; resist, delay and obstruct; two counts of hit and run vehicle crash; open container; DWI; safe movement violation; injury to personal property; equipment violation and careless and reckless driving.
NBPD says the investigation is still open and more charges could be filed in the case.
