Man arrested on various drug and weapons charges, faces 2.5 million bond

GREENVILLE, Pitt County - A man is currently facing a whopping $2.5 million bond after being arrested on various drug and weapons charges.

Isael Savage, 22, of Greenville was arrested on Wednesday, November 15, as a result of a joint investigation between the Greenville Police Department Gang Unit, neighborhood police offers, the Gun Violence Unit and the Warrant Unit.

During his arrest, officers seized three firearms. One of the firearms was stolen and one was a semi-automatic high-powered rifle, officials with GPD confirmed to NewsChannel 12 this morning.

Officers also seized 42 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of U.S. currency.

Savage is currently facing various drug and weapons charges, including drug trafficking, and is being held on a $2.5 million bond.

This investigation is ongoing and additional arrests may be forthcoming, officials confirmed.
