JPD searches for man wanted in rash of Sunday break-ins

JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County - Jacksonville Police are asking for help to identify a man wanted for questioning in five breaking and entering incidents that occurred on May 21.

The break-ins happened at Crystal Coast Detail Center, 415 Marine Boulevard; First Defense Storage, 121 Broadhurst; Bobby's Auto Service, 409 Marine Boulevard; Holiday Used Cars, 420 S. Marine Boulevard and Jacksonville Treatment, 806 Bell Fork Road. Police have provided security camera images from three of the incidents of the suspect in question.

The subject is described as a white man between the ages of 25 to 30 years old. He is approximately 5-feet-8-inches tall, with black hair and several tattoos on his arms. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black shirt, black jeans, a black Cleveland Indians baseball cap and red sneakers. The subject was last seen at the Triangle Motor Inn on May 21 at approximately 3 p.m. He may be driving a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which has been reported as stolen. This suspect was accompanied by three other suspects who aided in the break ins.
