James Sprunt Community College is proud to announce that beginning in August 2017, transportation will be available for students to attend classes in the Fall Semester. The cost of transportation will be included in the tuition and fees, resulting in no additional costs for the students taking advantage of the service. Students must provide a current James Sprunt Community College identification to take advantage of the service. "Transportation has been a barrier for many of our students," said Brian Jones, associate vice president of student services. "We are trying to remove as many of the barriers as we can so that students can reach their academic goals." "We recently heard about a student who was walking to James Sprunt from Warsaw, it was a 10-mile walk, one way," said Dr. Lawrence Rouse, president of James Sprunt Community College.
