Havelock teen arrested for breaking into vehicles
HAVELOCK, Craven County - A Havelock teen has been arrested after officials said he was involved in several vehicle break-ins on June 5-6.
Trestin Everett, 17, of Havelock, was apprehended in the area of the break-ins. Officials said 15 reports of stolen luggage, cash, cell phones and tablet were made. The reports were filed of vehicle break-ins and attempted break-ins in the areas of John Court, Brown Boulevard and surrounding areas. Investigators believe Everette was also involved in two previous residential break-ins near Rice Lane. He has been charged with the following: -- 1 count of Felony Breaking and Entering of a Vehicle -- 2 counts of Felony Breaking and Entering of a Building -- 2 counts of Larceny after Breaking and Entering -- 1 count of Felony Larceny of a Firearm -- 1 count of Misdemeanor Larceny Everette has been placed in the Craven County Jail under a $7,500 secured bond. The investigation continues and more warrants are forthcoming.
