Havelock PD seeks person of interest in club stabbing

HAVELOCK, Craven County - Havelock Police are seeking the public's help in locating a suspect in a stabbing that occurred in April at Club Asylum.

According to HPD, an individual was stabbed several times in the back and hip in the early morning hours of April 23 at Club Asylum, located at 310 East Main Street in Havelock. The victim spent several days at Vidant Health Center in Greenville before being released to recover at home.

According to investigators, several fights took place in the parking lot of the club in the early morning hours of April 23. Leads have led detectives to believe a person of interest in the case is a Pitt County resident.

HPD is asking for the public's help in identifying the person of interest in the case. Anyone with information about the individual can call HPD at (252) 447-3212 or email anonymously or by calling the Craven County Crime Stoppers at (252) 633-5141.
