Grifton man facing federal indictment drug charges
GRIFTON, Lenoir County - A Grifton man has been served with federal indictment drug charges.
According to a press release from Kinston Police, Alfred Hanzy was served on Jan. 10 by the Kinston Police Department Narcotics Unit, with assistance from the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office had its Special Response Team called out after Hanzy refused to come out of his residence at 4566 Sleepy Fox Dr. in Grifton.
Hanzy surrendered without incident and is facing indictments for trafficking cocaine and maintaining a dwelling at his residence. He is being held without bond.
