Greenville woman arrested for running boyfriend over with car

GREENVILLE, Pitt County - A Greenville woman is in custody after she intentionally ran her boyfriend over with her car early Thursday morning, officials say.

Christian Snuggs, 24, called police to tell them she had hit her boyfriend, Patrick Harris, with her car on purpose, according to GPD spokesperson Kristen Hunter.

Police responded to the address near the intersection of Howell and Garland streets around 2:30 a.m., Hunter said. When they arrived, Hunter was alert, and was taken to Vidant Medical Center with minor injuries.

Snuggs was booked into the Pitt County Jail on a $50,000 bond, charged with assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill.
