Greenville to play host to NC mayors on Thursday
GREENVILLE, Pitt County - Greenville and Kinston will be in the spotlight on Thursday as the two cities play host to a large contingent of mayors from across the state.
The day-long event will be held at the ECU Murphy Center and in Uptown Greenville. It is intended to "build bridges between the urban, suburban and rural parts of the state," according to a release issued by the City of Greenville. The tour was organized by the N.C. Metropolitan Mayors Coalition and will feature transportation, parks and economic development projects in the area.
