Greenville Police investigating stabbing incident
GREENVILLE, Pitt County - Greenville Police are investigating after a man was stabbed at his home Thursday afternoon.
Greenville Police Public Information Officer Kristen Hunter told NewsChannel 12's Resita Cox the incident happened just before 4 p.m. in the 1800 block of Kennedy Circle. The man, who has not been identified by police, was stabbed in the back and leg. He was transported to Vidant Medical Center for treatment. The man was alert and talking to first responders.
Officials believe the person who stabbed the man is an acquaintance. A suspect is not in custody and the investigation continues.
