Greenville Police investigating robbery at Family Dollar store


GREENVILLE, Pitt County - Greenville Police responded to a robbery at a Family Dollar Thursday evening.

The robbery happened at 9:04 p.m. at 2800 E. 10th St. Witnesses stated a suspect entered the business, displayed a hand gun and demanded money. They were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing all black. An investigation continues. Crime Stoppers offers up to a $2,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
