Greenville Police investigating after three involved in shooting, stabbing


GREENVILLE, Pitt County - Greenville Police are investigating after a shooting and stabbing incident Sunday morning.

According to Lt. Carlton Williams, who is investigating, the incident happened Sunday at 2:30 a.m. during a dispute at the H&K Store on Davis and Ward streets. The incident involved three people, two who ended up being victims.

The victims reportedly left the store and were approached by the suspect. One victim was stabbed by the suspect three times.He was rushed to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville with non-life-threatening injuries. Another victim who saw the attack had the vehicle they were in struck by the suspect. They did not sustain any injuries.

Police are continuing to investigate in an attempt to identify the suspect.
