Greenville Police investigate apartment armed robbery


GREENVILLE, Pitt County - Greenville Police reported an armed robbery Tuesday evening at Corbitt Apartments.

Police were called to the 1800 block of Sixth Street for the report of an armed robbery. The victims told police two suspects knocked on the door to their apartment just after 6 p.m. When the victims opened the door, the suspects forced their way inside and stole electronics. No one was injured during the incident.

Police said the suspects were two black males about 6-foot-0 in their late teens or early 20s. They were seen traveling west on Fifth Street. One of them had dreadlocks, black pants and a black jacket with a green, yellow and red Jamaican design on it. The other suspect had short hair and was wearing all black.
